Bush League Division

 Commissioner's Note:  Tommy Rego is a beloved member of the Bush League Division and perhaps the number one fan of the Commissioner's Desk Podcast.  He has been in the Bush League since it's inception.  This poor kid just can't seem to do enough to win his way out of this division.  I'm proud to have him as the Ambassador of the Bush League though.

Bush League Division Record:  27-23

 Commissioner's Note:  Dario is another brother from the USMC.  His start in the TCT universe was as a fan of the Commissioner's Desk Podcast.  When he heard us announce an expansion division, he immediately put in a application.  Cande was welcomed to the league with open arms when he came all the way from Pennsylvania to attend the live Draft Order Party.  If only his teams were as dedicated to winning as he is to the league.  Cande has been stuck in the Bush League for multiple seasons now.

Bush League Division Record:  21-27

 Commissioner's Note:  Scotty Mack was a founding member of the TCT back in 2015.  After a few years getting his footing, he won the title in 2018.  He then went on a cold streak and ended up in the Backroom Division.  Down on his luck, he hung up his jersey and retired.  But the itch was still there. Years went by, but he longed for another title.  Scotty came out of retirement in 2024 to make another run for gold.

Bush League Division:  9-7

Commissioner's Note:  Chace is a TCT OG and my co-host on the Commissioner's Desk Podcast.  He is a natural on the mic, using his wit and hot takes to entertain the masses.  If only he was as good at fantasy football as he is talking about fantasy football.  I love this guy, but he has a record.  I'm starting to believe him when he says he's losing on purpose to research each division.

Backroom Division Record:  14-15

Bush League Division Record:  7-9

Commissioner's Note:  Al joined the league in 2017.  He started off his run in the Champion's Division unimpressively and ended it the same way.  He spent one season in the Backroom Division, where he also couldn't hack it, and is now a reluctant member of the Bush League Division.  I suspect that he will be in the Septic Tank Division after this season.  I should offer to save him the trouble and just drop him straight into the Dead-Bottom Division...

Backroom Division Record:  6-10

Bush League Division:  Rookie

Commissioner's Note:  When Kenny Almeida unexpectedly retired before the start of the 2022 draft, I had to scramble and find a last minute replacement.  James stepped right in and decided to manage his 25th fantasy football team.  James is a member of a lot of other leagues.  Hopefully this is his favorite.  A stanch republican, his moves are anything but conservative.  James tends to swing for the fences, going all or nothing with his draft picks, waiver adds, and trades.

Backroom Division Record:  14-18

Bush League Division Record:  11-6

Commissioner's Note:  I must say, I was more than a little surprised when Mike's application to the league came across my desk.  Mike was never known for his football knowledge and prior to joining the Bush League Division in 2022, had never participated in fantasy football.  I was delighted to see that he was well prepared at his first draft and put in a solid first season.  I was shocked when he won it all in 2023 becoming the Bush League Division Champion.  After a stint in the Backroom, he now finds himself where it all began.  Maybe this is home for him?

2023 Champion

Commissioner's Note:  I didn't know what to expect when Veda joined the league in 2024.  I knew of Veda but did not really know her.  I wanted to mix the demographic a little bit and her husband, Zach, told me she was interested.  I must say, she has been a delight.  Not only does she bring the entertainment with her explosive trash talk, but she was able to become, not only the first Septic Tank Division Champion, but the first female champion in the league!

2024 Septic Tank Champion

Commissioner's Note:  When Rob heard about the TCT, he told me he would be interested if a spot ever opened up.  He was at the top of the list when I expanded and added both the Septic Tank and the Dead-Bottom Divisions.  A lawyer by trade, Rob is intelligent and reserved.  At his first draft in the league, Rob brought his son, Maddux.  The two made picks as a pair.  He led his team to the finals, but I question if the success should be attributed to him or Maddux. We will find out.

Septic Tank Division:  11-5

Commissioner's Note:  Tim joined the league in 2024 with a fresh batch of 19 other managers.  I didn't know what to expect from him, and to be honest, I still don't.  He seems to possess fantasy football knowledge, but says he never really played before.  I do know that he believes if you're going to do something, do it well.  He has done that so far in the TCT.
